| English as a Second Language (ESL) Services
Harmani, LLC offers a progressive, comprehensive, academic-centered, English as a Second Language (ESL), one-to-one program for students worldwide that focuses on knowledge, diversity, social justice, and critical thinking.
Our ESL program, established in 2007, meets the academic language needs of international students. The program specializes in teaching academic English language and study skills that are essential to success at university levels and professional careers. While enrolled in Harmani, LLC, students are entitled to student support services such as: library resource access, computer services, recreational and social activities, ongoing feedback, progress reports, and more.
Our mission:
Harmani, LLC prepares students for global leadership and service roles that will enable them to bond knowledge and diversity with intercultural understanding. This is accomplished through instructional programs and courses designed to: |
- Assist students in developing necessary oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills, that will promote interpersonal relationships;
- Assist students in cultivating personal attributes of self-confidence, tolerance, morality, ethical behavior, global perspective, and committed social justices;
- Prepare students for graduate or professional school admission and/or immediate entrance to, and advancement in, professional careers;
- Engage students in various problem-solving strategies to prepare them for automatic rational thinking in the event of extreme pressures and/or disasters
- Provide students with necessary technological skills and training that will aid them in their professional careers and personal lives;
- Assist students in fostering an understanding and appreciation of the many cultures that surround them and of the nature of the physical universe itself.
- Assist students in exploring their own knowledge-bases through self analysis;
- Provide students with responsibility and autonomy regarding their own learning.
